In one anecdotal study, a patient undergoing radiation dermatitis for breast cancer at the University of Colorado Health Science Center, used DermaRad Relief throughout the radiation treatment according the schedule attached to this document. Her correspondence with us during the study is shown below:

"Well, I'm through radiation treatment #19. I see the doctor once a week, and yesterday, she and the nurse were so pleased with how my skin looked that they asked me for the name of the lotion, which of course, I didn't know.

Anyway, the nurse said that they are trying to find a lotion to use hospital wide, as well as just in Radiation oncology."

Because of the likelihood that DermaRad Relief would prove beneficial for cancer patients undergoing radiation treatment, Therametics initiated a controlled clinical study to assess the efficacy of our topical lotion containing Therosol® in preventing RADIATION DERMATITIS. This study received IRB approval and this protocol, entitled "The Ability of Therosol to Inhibit the Development of Radiation Dermatitis" is available upon request. The study is ongoing at the present timeThe clinical investigator for this study is Dr. Zoe Diana Draelos, MD, a Board certified and world renowned dermatologist. Her clinic is in High Point, NC. She is working with an oncology group in High Point/Greensborough, NC to identify breast cancer patients to enroll in the study.

To date, two patients have completed 35 radiation treatments and both women showed NO signs of radiation dermatitis. Clinical photographs taken by Dr. Draelos of one of the patients the day after her 35th radiation treatment and a month later are shown below. The photograph on the left is a low magnification picture of the entire treated area while the photograph on the right is a macro (high magnification) shot taken very close to the surface of the skin.

Although Dr. Draelos's report of this study is not completed because the study is ongoing, she did offer the following comments about the condition of the patients. The second patient to complete the study also showed no evidence of radiation dermatitis.

"Dear Bryan,

I was able to get follow up photos one month after the completion of radiation therapy in our first study subject.  She has no evidence of radiation damage to the skin.  This is truly amazing."- Dr. Draelos

Testimonials

I saw startling results with the Dermal Repair Serum immediately!  I had a sunspot below my left eye, right on my cheekbone.  After only 10 days, I could tell it had lightened tremendously and within a month it had completely disappeared.  This is the most obvious change in my appearance to others but many have commented on how great my skin looks, I know it is the Dermal Repair Serum that is reducing the fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes and forehead.                                                                                                                                                                                                        Karla W.
